Biographie
Thomas Barrau is Portfolio Manager for the hedge fund Eisler Capital. He is leading the research and development of a portfolio of quantitative trading strategies invested in various asset classes at various frequencies.
With Raphael Douady, he co-authored the book "Artificial Intelligence for Financial Markets: The Polymodel Approach", published by Springer.
He has been Head of Intraday Research for the hedge fund AXA Investment Managers Chorus, a role during which he developed a team of 4 researchers working on an Equity Market Neutral portfolio. Prior to this, he worked at Societe Generale as banker and financial advisor to small businesses, and as CFO in an aerospace company. He holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne University.
