Biographie

Elie Matta est Professeur Associé à HEC Paris . Il a obtenu un doctorat en Sciences de la Gestion en 2004, au Richard Ivey School of Business, The University of Western Ontario, Canada.

Ses recherches portent principalement sur la théorie du mandat et la théorie du prospect, avec un intérêt particulier pour les directeurs généraux, la rémunération des dirigeants, la prise de risque managériale et la stratégie internationale. Ses travaux ont été publiés dans les principales revues académiques, comme l'Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, et Strategic Management Journal. Il présente régulièrement ses travaux lors de conférences académiques internationales et travaille en tant que réviseur ad-hoc pour de nombreux journaux académiques et fondations de bourse de recherche.

Il a reçu plusieurs prix, dont la Bourse Doctorale J. Armand Bombardier en Management Global, le Prix d'Excellence de l'University of Western Ontario, et l'Emerald Management Reviews Citation of Excellence Award.Il a aussi recu le prix du CEMS course of the Year 2010 et  2012 pour son cours en « Managing Global Complexity ». Il est membre du comité de lecture de l'Academy of Management Journal.
