BIOGRAPHY
A finance professional for over 30 years in major international banks (Société Générale, ABN Amro or HSBC to name a few), Daniel Fermon specializes in global macro analysis and equity assets. He has spent the last 15 years at Société Générale as Managing Director, Head of Cross Asset Thematic Research. He regularly publishes professional articles and research on economic subjects and financial markets.
Over the last several years, Daniel has both developed and managed a wide range of equity thematic indices with his team. In 2018, he created a specific ETF on Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for Lyxor Asset Management. Daniel is regularly sought out for his view on financial markets by CIOs of major asset management institutions around the world.
Daniel regularly contributes to the classroom across programs at HEC Paris. Daniel has also served as a board member of IP Valmy, pension fund of Société Générale, and as a board member of the French Financial Analysis association (SFAF).
