Royal Parks Half Marathon-courir pour la Fondation HEC

HEC in the UK se joint au Royal Parks Half Marathon à Londres le 10 octobre avec une équipe de 10 coureurs HEC prêts à courir et à lever des fonds pour la Fondation HEC ! 

Nous vous invitons à soutenir notre équipe de coureurs qui parcourront 21 km dans quatre des parcs royaux de Londres - Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James's Park et Kensington Gardens.

Objectifs du demi-marathon :

• L’objectif de cette initiative est de courir et de lever des fonds en tant qu’équipe pour la Fondation HEC
   
• L’objectif de l’équipe sera de collecter au moins 10 000 £
   
• Les fonds collectés au cours de la campagne grâce aux liens seront utilisés pour financer des projets de la Fondation HEC, y compris des bourses et potentiellement des projets à Londres
   
• La plateforme de collecte de fonds se terminera le 10 octobre à 16 h (heure du Royaume-Uni).

A la Fondation HEC, notre mission est de soutenir le développement d'HEC Paris*.

Nous agissons collectivement pour promouvoir l'égalité des chances, soutenir la diversité, l'équité et l'inclusion, l'excellence et le rayonnement international de l'Ecole.

Ces dernières années, grâce au soutien de la Fondation, HEC Paris a pu accélérer ses actions en faveur de l'égalité des chances, non pas par des quotas, mais par un soutien actif à ceux qui en ont besoin. 
Aujourd'hui, grâce à la générosité de nos donateurs, 18% des étudiants bénéficient d'une bourse d'études basée sur leurs besoins. Un pourcentage qui a plus que doublé au cours des 10 dernières années. Aujourd'hui, la Fondation est plus que jamais indispensable pour donner à HEC Paris les moyens de permettre à des jeunes gens exceptionnellement talentueux du monde entier de réaliser leur potentiel.

Les fonds récoltés en sponsorisant les coureurs HEC pour le semi-marathon de Londres seront utilisés afin de financer des bourses pour nos étudiants, et pour soutenir le développement des activités d'HEC Paris au Royaume-Uni.

• Emanuele Cavaliere (M.20)

Emanuele Cavaliere was born in Andria, in the south of Italy, and completed his studies in engineering before joining the MSc Finance at HEC Paris and moving to London to work in Investment Banking.
Emanuele picked up running in 2016 and has never stopped cultivating this passion ever since. During weekends, you can find him at Regent's Park trying to improve his 10k times

• Polina Leonova  (M.15)

"My name is Polina and I graduated from MSc in Finance at HEC in 2015. I have been in London since then working in finance and having my digital asset advisory firm. I love running! I completed two marathons so far - one in Madrid and one in Berlin. I am very excited to join the team of HEC Runners this year and I have started training already!”

• Loïc Fery (H.97)

Fondateur et PDG de Chenavari Investment Managers. Président, FC Lorient. Grand Donateur de la Fondation HEC. Coureur enthousiaste préparant le marathon de New York en novembre. 
Il vit depuis 20 ans à Londres. Ancien président de HEC Alumni UK.

• Corey Leung (MBA.20)

Corey is Marketing Strategist based in London, England. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria and an MBA from HEC Paris. Outside of work, you can usually find Corey at a local concert venue or up at 3AM catching the latest Vancouver Canucks game. He also spends his free time eating as many different types of food as he can get his hands on and drinking 7£ lattes at hip coffee shops. He does that more than he would like to admit.

• Richard Kamp (MBA.19)

"I graduated from HEC Paris in 2019 after completing my MBA.I am originally from South Africa but have been based in Paris and now London following my studies, as I develop my career in the healthcare sector. Becoming a dad last year hasn't put an end to my training, it just means I need to push my son with me!"

• Lorenz Woelfel (MIF.2019)

"I'm 25 years old, from Germany and work in London at UBS in Infrastructure Private Equity. 
I graduated from HEC in 2019 from the MiF and enjoyed running on the campus during the week and to the Versaille gardens on weekends. With two friends from HEC I also ran the Paris marathon when I lived in Jouy. Looking forward dot the Royal Parks Half Marathon with the HEC team!"

• Ritika Midha (MBA.20)

Ritika is a client success manager based in London, England. She was part of the September 2018 intake of the HEC MBA program and graduated in 2020. Raising funds for the HEC Foundation along with her fellow batchmates was motivation enough to sign up for her first-ever half marathon. Although a novice runner, she has actively been involved in sports such as soccer, badminton, and swimming.

• Apurv Chaturvedi (MBA.20)

Apurv works as an Operations Manager for a leading ride-hailing company. He completed his MBA from HEC Paris in 2020, and prior to that he was working with J.P. Morgan Investment Banking. Apart from work, he spends his time playing or watching football, working out or cooking. He does other things too, but probably not worth mentioning here!

• Lauren Onthank (HEC UK Deputy Director)

"Hi! I'm Lauren, French-American and currently Deputy Director to the HEC UK Office in London where I've been working for the past 3,5 years - being passionate about education & youth development, I love it! Outside of work, you'll find me working on various projects, biking, hiking with friends, baking & crafting… and I look forward to running this fun half marathon with the team, across London’s beautiful royal parks ! ;)"

A propos d'HEC in the UK

HEC a un bureau au Royaume-Uni à Londres composé d'une équipe de 4 employés à temps plein : Delphine Mourot (H.03), Lauren Onthank, Christina Keo et Wendy Degremont. Les missions d'HEC UK Office sont multiples. Le bureau de HEC Royaume-Uni met en relation divers programmes d'HEC Paris et leurs étudiants avec des opportunités locales, soutient le réseau des diplômés au Royaume-Uni et travaille sur le rayonnement de la marque HEC Paris au Royaume-Uni.
