WEEK 1 at HEC Paris - Summer 2024

Residing on the 340-acre campus allows you to take full advantage of campus life during your week at HEC Paris. Student residences are all located within walking distance of classrooms, sports fields and the student cafeteria.

Rooms on-campus are not mandatory. However, participants are encouraged to reside on-campus to benefit from campus life and the full program experience.

Residence check-in for this program occurs on Monday July 1st when you should arrive at HEC Paris. Summer students need to vacate rooms the following Sunday morning, July 7th. The fixed rate for these six nights is €240. Participants are free to enjoy Paris on the Saturday and travel to Lausanne on the Sunday, ready for the second week.

For the week at HEC Paris, on-campus housing will be in single rooms with en-suite bathroom and shower. All rooms are fully furnished with a bed, night table, desk for personal study and a closet. There is also a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, double hotplate, sink and microwave. Basic cooking equipment will also be provided. The HEC Residence provides bed sheets, a cover, pillow and towel for the duration of a participant's stay. Soap, shampoo and toothpaste are the responsibility of each participant. Note that rooms do not include irons or hair dryers. Please plan accordingly.

It is during the confirmation process, after being admitted, that you are able to select the option with or without on-campus accommodation for Week 1.

TRAVEL FROM HEC PARIS TO EHL

Participants are responsible for making their own arrangements for travel to the EHL campus in Switzerland, however, we recommend the most sustainable means of travel. There is a direct train from Paris to Lausanne, running 16 times a day and arriving in under 4 hours.

WEEK 2 AT EHL Lausanne - Summer 2024

Participants benefit from top-notch facilities and an inspiring, modern living environment on our campus in Lausanne. The new accommodation buildings which opened in 2021 have set a new benchmark for university campus accommodation in terms of energy efficiency and student experience.

There is a possibility to host participants in these rooms which have their own en-suite bathroom. For applications after April 30th, reservations will be subject to availability.

PRICE PER NIGHT - CHF64 + CHF3 city tax
This includes access to the sports facilities on the EHL campus.

The room has a single bed with pillow and duvet, bedside lamp, and one closet with hangers and shelves, a desk, desk lamp, chair, and trash can. It is equipped with a mini fridge. Towels and bed linens are provided.  An ironing board and iron are available in the common laundry room free of charge.

Please note that there are no kitchen facilities in the rooms at EHL.

CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT
Participants will be able to check in to their room at EHL on Sunday 7th July from 3 - 6pm, or Monday 8th July from 7.30 - 8.30am.
Check-out will be possible on the Friday evening after program end, or Saturday morning at the latest.

More details on the booking process for accommodation at EHL will be provided after admission.
