8 Areas of Specialization

The HEC Paris PhD program offers eight specializations at the frontier of management research.

The Accounting and Management Control specialization is designed to provide a thorough understanding of current accounting theory, practice and research...

The Economics and Decision Sciences specialization prepares students for high quality research on a wide array of both theoretical and empirical topics in Economics.

The Finance PhD program at HEC Paris provides students with a rigorous training in financial economics delivered in a vibrant research department.

The ISOM specialization explores cutting edge operational and technological issues related to societies, organizations and individuals.

The PhD in Law and Regulation is designed to pursue PhD research at the intersection of law, social sciences, business and technology.

The Management and Human Resources specialization offers training in Organizational Behavior and Theory.

The Marketing Specialization of the HEC Paris PhD program prepares students for an academic career at research institutions from day 1.
