HEC Paris and Institut Polytechnique awarded for their commitment to equal opportunities
HEC Paris and Institut Polytechnique were awarded by the "Equal Opportunity Prize" at the Engagement and Meritocracy Award Ceremony 2024. This award rewards the two schools' commitment to academic equity and their numerous social initiatives aimed at secondary school students.

Organized by the "Expressions de France" and "Lead by Example" associations at the Cercle des Armées in Paris, the ceremony was also an opportunity to present the joint initiatives of the two Paris-based schools, such as the #GENIUS online tutoring program, which helps young French students from all backgrounds to enter the top scientific and business streams.
The award encourages the two institutions to continue their efforts to inform, inspire and support France's best students in their pursuit of studies in top schools of Higher Education.
Through its Equal Opportunity mission, HEC Paris has helped more than 11,000 students from modest backgrounds, prioritary districts, isolated rural areas or whose parents did not go to top schools or higher education.For over 15 years, HEC Paris has helped to transform the life paths of these disadvantaged but nonetheless brilliant students by paying out over 2 million euros in social grants for their higher education.
