Chaires de recherche Antin

Antin

Research Chairs

Chair holder: Olivier Gottschalg, Professor Strategy and Business Policy

Antin IP

The Antin Infrastructure Partners-HEC Paris "Private Equity and Infrastructures" Chair aims to support academic training and research excellence in the field of private equity and infrastructure investment.

In a context of scarce public funds, infrastructure financing by private equity professionals is fundamental in Europe, and requires both specialized and versatile knowledge and skills to manage large-scale, long-term and increasingly complex projects.

More specifically, the aim of the Antin Infrastructures Partners-HEC Paris "Private Equity and Infrastructures" Chair is to support academic excellence and the practical training of high-level professionals, by raising their awareness of the value-creation levers used by infrastructure funds in their investments.

This Chair demonstrates HEC Paris' determination to play an active and visible role in the advancement of management sciences, and thus to continue to be one of the leading institutions where this knowledge is produced and shared.

Headed by Oliver Gottschalg, Professor of Strategy and Corporate Policy, the Antin Infrastructures Partners - HEC Paris "Private Equity and Infrastructures" Chair will benefit from his research into the strategic logic and performance determinants of private equity investments. It demonstrates HEC Paris' determination to participate actively and visibly in the advancement of scientific knowledge in management, and thus to be one of the leading institutions where this knowledge is created and disseminated.

HEC Prof. Oliver Gottschalg quote about HEC Paris Antin Infrastructure Partners' Chair

"At a time when the infrastructure sector is expanding rapidly in Europe, we want to actively support this growth and help train professionals in the realities of this exciting business, which requires increasingly varied expertise and an international approach. We are therefore honored to sponsor the Private Equity and Infrastructure Chair at HEC Paris, a world-renowned business school. "

Alain Rauscher, Chairman of Antin Infrastructure Partners

"Research is an essential activity in an internationally renowned business school like HEC Paris. Our reputation is largely determined by the relevance of the knowledge and quality of the innovations developed by our faculty. This Chair, created with the support of Antin IP, confirms our joint commitment to academic and pedagogical excellence."

Eloïc Peyrache, Dean and Managing Director of HEC Paris
