Chaires de recherche Natixis
Natixis
Research Chairs
Chair holder and Executive Director: Jean-Edouard Colliard and Vincent Fraitot , Associate Professor, Finance Department and Affiliate Professor
Created with École Polytechnique, the chair aims to contribute to the development of data culture and usage, which is one of the keys in redesigning the bank of tomorrow.
Notably, when used in data science algorithms, data help improve banks’ operating efficiency and enable the development of new value-added services.
For the students, this Chair will enable them to confront real-life cases and to exchange ideas with Natixis experts. A Data Science for Management certificate will be open to all HEC Paris and École Polytechnique students, and will run for 4 to 5 weeks.
In addition to theoretical courses, students from each school will have the opportunity to work on challenges proposed by Natixis and relating to a topical business issue.
A section will also be devoted to research through meetings between partners and teacher-researchers, as well as conferences and seminars on themes associated with the Chair.
As part of this partnership, teacher-researchers will be able to define and propose research topics.
