HEC Paris Finance Department is Looking for an Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Finance
The Finance Department of HEC Paris invites applications for a faculty position in finance (at the assistant, associate, or full professor level) starting with the 2023 fall semester. The successful candidate is expected to undertake research resulting in top journal publications and to be an excellent teacher. Applicants must have a PhD in Finance or Economics (for the latter, strong research credentials in finance are required) or be near completion. We welcome applications in any field of finance. Knowledge of the French language is not required as all finance teaching at HEC Paris is in English.
HEC Paris, France’s top “Ivy League” Business School, is located just outside of Paris and can be reached in 30 minutes by car from the city. The school has a core MSc in Management program with 750+ students entering each year. In addition, it offers a PhD in Finance, an MSc in International Finance, an Executive MSc in Finance, an MBA with a Finance Specialization, and an Executive MBA with a Finance Specialization, as well as various other master and executive education programs. HEC Paris has been consistently ranked among the top-2 European Business Schools by the Financial Times since 2006. The Finance Department’s MSc in International Finance has been ranked as top-1 worldwide by the Financial Times for the past eight years. Graduates of the Finance Department’s PhD program have received job offers from top-10 North American universities.
