2015 HEC Paris Welcome Days
Activities organized throughout the Welcome days gave new students enrolled in the MiM, MSc and MS programs the chance to explore HEC Paris.
Attending conferences, participating in sports tournaments and meeting with clubs and societies were all part of the program followed by the new students.
Therefore, students were made aware of the range of services available to them and informed of the academic, professional and associative opportunities at HEC.
The opening morning was devoted to welcome speeches from Peter Todd - Dean of HEC Paris, Eloïc Peyrache - Associate Dean HEC Paris, and Marcelle Laliberté- Academic Affairs Director. This was followed by introductions from the Career Department and HEC Alumni.
Marc Benoît, a former student at HEC Paris and current Executive Vice President, Human Resources at Danone, came to share about his personal life and career path and give an insight into life as a former student in the Grande Ecole program.
The student’s union team along with the entire student body were especially involved in the organization of the Welcome Days. In particular, students hosted a clubs and societies fair in the ‘Hall d’Honneur’. This was an opportunity to get a taste of the student associations’ energy, with some 120 registered clubs and societies on campus.
The welcome days finished with a sports tournament organized by HEC students to build a class spirit.
