Annual HEC Alumni gathering in NYC with guest of honor, Jean-Paul Agon, CEO L'Oréal
On October 22, the HEC Alumni East Coast community was welcomed by L'Oreal USA for an intense evening where Jean-Paul Agon, Chairman and CEO of L’Oréal shared his views on corporate responsibility, business ethics and philantropy.
Thanks to the HEC USA Office, the 4th HEC annual gathering took place in New York in presence of Peter Todd, Dean of HEC Paris, Frédéric Jousset (H92) President of HEC Alumni, Delphine Colson (H94), Executive Director of the HEC Foundation, Frédéric Rozé (H83), President & CEO of L'Oréal USA and Evelyne Estey (H81), President of HEC NY Chapter.
Peter Todd presented how Alumni can shape the future of HEC and engaged the audience to support HEC new fundraising campaign "impact tomorrow" generating immediate response from several Alumni who made spontaneous donations that evening.
There was a special moment when Yasmine Machwate (H22) made a brilliant speech on "is equality an opportunity", thus enhancing JP Agon's inputs on Philantropy. Yasmine was a recent finalist of the latest public-speaking contest at HEC.
The evening ended with a cocktail reception and an opportunity to meet and mingle with fellow Alumni.
Heartful thanks to Frédéric Rozé for hosting this gathering at L'Oréal's Offices,10 Hudson Yards, New York, NY 10001.
