London Marketing Study Trip 2024

In June, the HEC UK Office organised the 2nd edition of the Learning Expedition to London for the Master in Marketing students. During 3 intensive days, the 60 students had the opportunity to do company visits, meet with marketing experts, and network with HEC alumni. This Learning Expedition aims to provide students with first-hand experience of the dynamic marketing industry and foster valuable connections with industry professionals.

The Master in Marketing program at HEC Paris is focused on experiential learning, with the London expedition standing as a shining example of its initiatives to equip students for industry challenges. By offering immersive experiences and fostering valuable connections, the program ensures that students gain the skills and insights needed to succeed in the rapidly changing marketing field.

During the expedition, students had the opportunity to visit companies across various industries and engage with marketing experts. They explored firms known for their creative prowess and unique brand strategies, witnessing firsthand how marketing concepts are translated into tangible successes.

Students had the opportunity to interact with marketing professionals and visit a diverse array of companies such as Charlotte Tilbury, Longchamp, Pinterest, Nuxe, etc. They delved into firms renowned for their creativity and innovative branding strategies, observing how theoretical marketing principles are applied to achieve real-world success.

A major highlight of the trip was the networking event at the HEC UK House. The students had the unique opportunity to meet and engage with alumni who are currently working in various marketing roles. This exclusive gathering allowed students to receive valuable advice, exchange ideas, and build professional relationships that could significantly influence their future careers. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the HEC alumni who generously shared their time and experiences with the students!

 

HEC Paris London Office - Marketing Study trip

 

The trip provided the marketing students with a broad range of perspectives on their future careers. Students shared their thoughts on the experience “It was insightful to see companies in different sectors, from tech giants like Google to iconic luxury brands like Fendi and Chanel.” “Learning about businesses I might not have initially been interested in, turned out to be incredibly valuable.” “I felt a strong connection and support from the HEC alumni.

This successful Learning Expedition in London represents a key milestone for the Master in Marketing students. As they approach graduation, they carry with them new perspectives and a robust network of contacts that will undoubtedly shape their professional journeys.
