The Dean
Eloïc Peyrache is a professor at HEC Paris and serves as the Director General and Dean of HEC Paris.
Eloïc Peyrache has been successively Assistant Professor then Associate Professor of Economics at HEC since 2003. Since 2006, he has also held various positions within the HEC Group. After serving as Director of Development (2006-2008), he was appointed Associate Dean in charge of pre-experience programs, a portfolio that includes the Grande Ecole program, the various Specialized Masters and the Masters of Science (2008-2018). From 2013, he will also oversee equal opportunity initiatives and the Entrepreneurship Center for the HEC group. He becomes Dean of Programs at the beginning of 2019 and is appointed Acting Dean in October 2020.
Alumnus of the Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, he received his PhD in Economics from the Toulouse School of Economics (TSE) in 2003. He was a visiting doctoral student at Northwestern University in Chicago (2000) and at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2001).
His research work focuses on both contract theory and gender issues.
