Solidarity with the Ukrainian People Solidarity with the Ukrainian People

The HEC Paris community wishes to express its unconditional support for the Ukrainian people and all the victims of this conflict which it condemns. In the face of war, our campus and our multicultural community of students, professors and alumni remain united, faithful to their values of peace and purposeful leadership.

Our community would like to show its unconditional support for the Ukrainian people and all the families of the victims of the conflict. We do believe that the decisions of politicians should not separate us apart; moreover, we are proud that on campus more than 110 different nationalities live and work together to create a better society.

Eloïc Peyrache, Director General and Dean of HEC Paris

An MOU has been signed between HEC Paris and the Ukrainian Global University

The Ukrainian Global University (UGU) is an initiative led by the Kyiv School of Economics and endorsed by the Office of the President of Ukraine. It aims at facilitating a certain level of continuity within the academic community for displaced persons and for those at home not able to continue with their studies and/or research.

The primary contributions that HEC Paris will be making within this framework include:

  • Facilitating access to the Imagine Fellowship, which supports students from war-affected nations to embark on MiM studies at HEC Paris.
  • The potential creation of a Combined Degree with a leading Ukrainian Engineering School
  • Opening seats within our Summer School programs
  • Developing exchange opportunities within the MiM program, starting from September
  • Providing online programming through the Executive Certificate in Sustainable Transition Management
  • Incubation and start-up support to Ukrainian entrepreneurs
  • Career coaching & workshops for students
  • Access to online language teaching programs for students
  • Facilitating the hosting of visiting faculty and PhD students
  • Exploring options for providing office / desk space for displaced Ukrainian faculty

Now that the MOU is signed, the UGU will begin matching HEC Paris with students & academics in need.
