The Summer School provides a place to meet like-minded people where you forget to keep track of time and indulge in intellectual conversations.

I am a Software Developer at Virtusa Consulting Services Private Limited, India. With my interests in business, I enrolled in the HEC Paris summer program Geopolitics, Globalization & Business Strategy. I wanted to shift my career from technology to more business-leaning domains where I can create more impact. I decided to attend the summer school to expand my horizons about business strategy.

During the intense two-week period, we worked on a company of our choice and devised a strategy for its survival. The learnings from class and the application of the actor of our choice made it more interesting. The class's diversity helped me gain perspectives from all over the world. The materials and support from Professor Jeremy Ghez are exceptional. He made it easy for someone from no business background to devise a strategy for a company. 

This program helped me to learn and unlearn the method of understanding a business and how geopolitics play a major role. HEC helped me learn about the expectations of a student who wants to pursue consulting.
