I returned home from this program with new ideas, valuable knowledge, and meaningful connections from across the world.

As someone with a deep passion for technology, innovation and entrepreneurship, I have always searched for opportunities to expand my knowledge in those fields. Currently, I am an undergraduate student in Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, where I am also enrolled in a Certificate in Technology Entrepreneurship. My desire to start my own business in the future has led me to the Summer Program on Entrepreneurship and Digital Innovation offered by HEC Paris and TUM in Heilbronn. What sparked my interest is the dual approach of this program, blending business and technical perspectives on innovation and entrepreneurship. As a technical student, I rarely get to explore the business perspective, so the opportunity to acquire knowledge in both domains was particularly valuable and captivating.

The first week, led by HEC Paris, focused on entrepreneurial ecosystems and innovation cycles, offering insights into how start-ups thrive. The second week, taught by professors from TUM, covered digital experimentation and data analytics, both critical areas in today’s digital innovation landscape. A highlight of this program was its interactive nature, which involved discussions, case studies and assignments. We had the opportunity to participate in various workshops, where we discussed start-up ideas, analyzed innovation strategies, and experimented with A/B Testing Simulations.

Another memorable aspect of the program were guest lectures and workshops hosted by TUM Venture Labs. These sessions offered an incredible opportunity to connect with professionals, gain insights into the local innovation ecosystem and receive personalized feedback. The program concluded with a visit to SAP Walldorf, where we explored the SAP Experience Center and Germany’s innovation environment.

On a personal level, the program introduced me to a diverse group of participants from around the world, all sharing a common passion for entrepreneurship and innovation. These connections have enriched my experience and sparked countless inspiring discussions. I returned home from this program with new ideas, valuable knowledge, and meaningful connections from across the world. This experience has truly expanded my perspective and equipped me for future entrepreneurial ventures!
