A scholarship is far more than a question of money. It demonstrates that the school supports and listens to students in a spirit of solidarity. The impact it can have goes beyond figures.
Dear,
In December, I was lucky enough to receive notification that I had been awarded a scholarship from the HEC Foundation. This news sparked a huge amount of gratitude in me, as it shows that the school cares about the difficult situations that certain students experience. The amounts chosen are also close to the average amount of Crous scholarships provided to students. This consideration and consistency underline the established idea that a scholarship is far more than a question of money. It demonstrates that the school supports and listens to students in a spirit of solidarity. The impact it can have goes beyond figures, because firstly, it relieves financial stress, but it also kindles dreams of how this money could be used, for personal need and perhaps even to cultivate a passion.
This was the case for me, and I must once again give my most sincere thanks for the generous grant that I will be receiving in a few weeks. Rest assured that it will be used wisely, as it will not only make my everyday life easier but also allow me to develop my artistic practices and attend cultural events.
After this year at HEC, I hope to commence a career in the creative/cultural industries. But if there’s one thing I’m sure of, it’s that I will be giving to others for many years into the future. This is my last point, simply to say that this scholarship will act as an investment in me, or rather a promise. I received generously, so I will give generously in the future, whenever possible. This butterfly effect will yield positive outcomes, honoring the generosity that you have shown this year.
Kind regards,
Paul
