Stepping out of my comfort zone to adapt to the fast-paced, high-expectation environment was challenging but rewarding.

My professional vision is to bring the renowned hospitality of the Greek islands to the global luxury tourism industry. I’ve seen first-hand how traditional hospitality can create unforgettable guest experiences, and my goal is to blend this with modern innovations, offering a perfect balance of authenticity and contemporary luxury. 

My hands-on experience in our family business taught me how tourism connects people and cultures. This eventually led me to pursue my studies in this industry and I am currently majoring in International Tourism and Hospitality Management with a minor in Modern Languages at Deree-The American College of Greece. However, I was keen to up my game and explore the top-end of the hospitality sector.

Choosing the HECxEHL Luxury Hospitality Management summer program was the natural next step. I wanted to explore the luxury side of hospitality and learn what it takes to excel in this prestigious sector. Both schools stood out to me because of their international reputation and the expertise of their faculty and guest speakers. I knew that learning from professionals in the global luxury sector would provide the tools and insights I needed to succeed.

The program exceeded my expectations, offering both practical and theoretical insights into the industry. The engaging approach of the professors combined real-world examples with in-depth analysis, making the lessons highly relevant. The guest speakers, with their impressive experience in luxury hotels and brands, provided valuable insights into managing high-end properties and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Collaborating with peers from diverse backgrounds pushed me to think creatively and grow both personally and professionally.

The program expanded my understanding of luxury hospitality and also my worldview, leaving me more confident and prepared to take on leadership roles in the luxury tourism sector. The HECxEHL Summer Program was a transformative experience that will guide me throughout my career.
