Judith Zimmermann

Judith Zimmermann

I learned so much from the program: not only in terms of tangible knowledge but also about myself - about the person I wanted to be and the things I was good at, both academically and personally. Most of all, I got to know amazing people, some of whom are still my closest friends, even if they live scattered around the world!

Through my work as a student assistant to the FU Office on Franco-German Studies, I got to know this great double degree program from its beginnings ten years ago. I almost immediately knew that I wanted to be part of it one day after finishing up my BA in Political Science. When I came to Jouy-en-Josas in the summer of 2013, I was excited to learn more about the world's political-economic decision-making and live on campus, sharing basically all of my experiences with the many people surrounding me.
