International Women's Day 2021: celebrating our ambitious female students

As a tribute to International Women’s Day 2021, five of our bright, ambitious female students share their aspirations for the future. From increasing food transparency to evolving the future of fashion, our female students are preparing to join the next generation of inspirational leaders.

Violaine Zeyen HEC ParisViolaine Zeyen – MSc Sustainability and Social Innovation

"I would like to work in the agribusiness industry and contribute to a fairer wealth distribution between its actors. I would like to make information on food packaging more transparent and facilitate understanding among consumers. I would like to start my career in a big retail company to have a global understanding of the stakes and issues in this industry.

My main drivers are human connection, having a positive impact, and the planet. I’m really energized when I meet new people and discover new opinions or ways of perceiving things."

Nerea HEC ParisNerea Salguero Garcia – Master in Management

"Having grown up around fashion, my career goal is to work for a multinational fashion company. My mother is a stylist and my grandparents have a fashion boutique in Spain. When I was younger, I used to help my grandparents in their shop, by choosing the clothes to display in the shop window. Living in Milan and attending catwalks has also contributed to my passion for fashion. What I love about fashion is its relatability: fashion is international, constantly evolving, and without borders.

Openness, self-reliance, and ambition are the values I was taught and have acquired over time. Living by these values has been influential in how I have made and continue to make my decisions."

"The exchange of expertise and realization of cross-sectoral projects is a huge opportunity to develop in the EU and beyond, and I aim to facilitate this cooperation."

Matylda SMatylda Stefanowska – MS Médias, Art et Création

"I would like to catalyze the digital transformation of creative institutions. Aside from my professional life, I would like to master a fourth and maybe fifth language to actively participate in international integration. The exchange of expertise and realization of cross-sectoral projects is a huge opportunity to develop in the EU and beyond, and I aim to facilitate this cooperation.

Challenges motivate me, both big and small. I love juggling a variety of projects. I need to stay busy to be productive."

Anna KopylovaAnna Kopylova – Russia – MS Médias, Art et Création

"I see myself as a cultural manager working in the rich Parisian cultural environment, in a globally-recognized institution. I am mostly interested in strategic development, and my passion lies with contemporary art foundations and museums.

I have realized that I am most inspired when I work on projects that leave a significant impact on people, that help them to grow, feel better, or inspire them."

Mathilde Savant-Ros HEC ParisMathilde Savant-Ros – MSc Marketing

"I intend to kickstart my career in a large established luxury company in product management. Thereafter, I aim to become Chief Marketing Officer, followed by the completion of an MBA to be able to reach the coveted position of CEO of a renowned fashion house.

Always seeking new challenges and curious-minded, I thrive on stepping out of my comfort zone and learning from others."
