Netexplo Forum: Digital Innovation Which Will Transform Society and Enterprises
After a year of global observation, the 7th edition of the Netexplo Forum, which takes place on 26th, 27th and 28th March 2014 at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris in partnership with HEC Paris, will present a selection of the 10 most promising digital innovations of the year. Be it media, marketing, health, biotechnology or food and drink, one of these sectors could be turned upside down by the arrival of one of these new innovations.
Given that only 2% of the world’s companies are digital natives, Netexplo offers them the keys to understanding transformations in order to stay competitive and tackle the future. The digital innovations which this forum reveals will shed light on enterprises and their future markets and competitors.
In order to identify the new uses of digital technology and establish its annual prize list, Netexplo relies on an international university network, which HEC Paris has been a part of since its creation in 2008. Julien Lévy, affiliate professor at HEC Paris, Academic Director of the Management and New Technologies Major and Holder of the AXA Digital Strategy and Big data Chair, is one of the experts at the centre of this caption network. In addition to this up-stream work, for the second year in a row Lévy will present the Netexplo Trend Report 2014 with his students which analyses the trends in digital technology and their effects on individuals, organisations and society.
Other HEC Paris faculty members will also contribute their respective expertise. Laurent Maruani, professor of marketing, will speak on Wednesday 26th at 2.30pm on the theme of “Digital Young Leadership Viewpoint”. Charles-Henri Besseyre des Horts, associate professor at HEC Paris in the Management and Human Ressources department and director of the Webhelp-HEC “Human Capital and Performance Chair” will participate in a round table, 27th March, 3.10pm, as part of an Online Forum. HEC Paris will also be co-organising a round table on the challenge of the digital transformation of large enterprises, with Julien Lévy. (See full program).
