Why Natixis attended the Legal Data Mining Conference?
The "Legal Data Mining" conference, organized by the Law & Taxation Department of HEC Paris is complementary to what is being done within the framework of our Chair
Banks have a general interest in data and its use. This development has not escaped the attention of legal professionals. The "Legal Data Mining" conference, organized by the Law & Taxation Department of HEC Paris is complementary to what is being done within the framework of our Chair with l’Ecole Polytechnique and HEC as it is specific to the legal sector.
At Natixis, we reflect on the data contained in legal commitments with a long-term vision. This project is part of our legal function digitalization program.
Involving jurists in this type of conference allows them to gain knowledge of this scientific environment of Artificial Intelligence applied in law and thus better understand the issues and potential of these tools. We can also understand the limitations of existing systems and the prospects generated by the ongoing research that allows us to better understand the evolutions of our professionals.
Thus, we can anticipate the state of tomorrow’s legal profession: "an improved jurist" who will have increased abilities thanks to digital tools."
