Workshop on Open Science and Research Reproducibility
Participate
cascad (HEC Paris and CNRS) is pleased to invite you to a Workshop on Open Science and Research Reproducibility.
Reproducibility is key for building trust in research, yet it is not widespread in economics. In order to improve the situation, leading academic journals, like the American Economic Review, the Review of Economic Studies, or the Economic Journal, have recently appointed data editors to design and oversee the journals’ strategy for archiving research data and code and promoting reproducible research. Similarly, central banks and national statistical offices are also looking for innovative solutions to improve the level of reproducibility of the research based on the data they provide. In parallel, researchers can now obtain an external reproducibility certification from a trusted third party, i.e., cascad.
