Barba'Muz or the art of falling back into childhood
It's the Big Day for Ilanna Maruani, a student of the Grande Ecole who is making her project a reality: the creation of an ephemeral museum, Barba'Muz, a real selfie kingdom in the middle of Paris, from Tuesday August 31st to Sunday September 5th 2021!
Meet our creative, entrepreneurial and slightly dreamy student...Ilanna Maruani.
"My name is Ilanna Maruani. I am American, French and Spanish. At the age of 17, I decided to move to London
to study Business and Management at King's College London. After taking a gap year, I then joined HEC Paris in the Grande Ecole Program as well as the Ecole 42.
Aside from my studies, I've always been passionate about the audio-visual world.
After discovering "instagram museum” all over the world, I asked myself why not Paris? And that's where
I got this crazy idea to create this completely utopian and childish world that we all need: Barba'Muz.
This experience aims to leave the worries of everyday life behind, at least for a moment, to rediscover
the carefree spirit of our childhood, while taking memorable photos!
We are honored to work in collaboration with La Pelucherie, the famous artist Shana Enkaoua and La Sultane de Saba.
The event will take place:
From Tuesday 31 August to Sunday 5 September
104 Avenue Kleber, 75116 Paris
It is, I hope, the first of many following events. My ambition is to create this experience permanently
in the center of Paris.
I hope to have your support to make this first event a success.
Don’t wait to take your tickets, it only lasts until September 5! "

Ilanna Maruani, in parallel to her courses, wanted to develop her project. For the past year, she has been regularly attending the Offices Hours offered by the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Center and has benefited from the advice of professors and experts such as Etienne Krieger and Pierre Clamens... to finally bring her project to life with this first museum.
If you too have an idea or a project and would like to benefit from the advice of our professors, sign up for our office hours.
