Companies are accelerating their digital transition: 280 participants registered in 10 days for the Data For Managers program
The Data For Managers program has been very popular since its online launch on May 11th: 280 participants in 10 days and a first class of 85 participants from the PSA Group.
Confronted with the COVID-19 health crisis, companies had to review their organizational structure in record time. The internal evolutions and transformations planned for the medium or long term have become urgent and vital.
HEC Paris and its entrepreneurship and innovation center HEC IDEA have been working for several years on the challenges of digital transformation for companies.
By joining forces with its partner Netexplo, in December 2019, the School launched a blended program for managers seeking to understand the challenges of data and become players in this field.
Faced with the urgency, the certificate was adapted, also in record time, to take place completely online and meet the pressing needs of companies.
280 registrations in 10 days
The pedagogical team worked intensively to propose an online program, of 20 hours, in French or in English, and capped at 1500€ to be part of the new FNE-training scheme for partially unemployed employees, all without distorting the meaning of the program! Registrations have been open since May 11th 2020 and already 280 people have registered!
Anne Fenninger, Director of the PSA University, takes stock :
"This training is a perfect response to today's need to make our managers aware of data issues and to give them the keys to be able to take the initiative or participate in a data project. It has the advantage of being able to include everyone, since it is aimed at non data specialists, with the objective of engaging them in digital transformation around data.
The first participation of the PSA group in this training course at the end of 2019 was a great success. We conducted a satisfaction survey at the end of the session: 90% of respondents felt that this training made them more operational on the subject of data in the workplace and 87% of them thought they would recommend it to their colleagues and collaborators! We naturally re-engaged ourselves in this second online edition, which also worked very well.
Julien LEVY, the academic director of the program, Professor and Scientific Director of the HEC IDEA Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, explains that the program has been co-developed with large partner companies in order to be action-oriented:
"The question for the participants is to understand the challenges of data in their company, to understand their role in organizations that are increasingly data-driven, and then to be able to initiate or participate in concrete projects within their company."
If, like Accor, BNP Paribas, Eramet, Nexity, Orange, PSA, Renault, Safran, Veolia... that enrolled employees into to the Data For Managers Program, you would like to prepare yourself to face the new challenges caused by the crisis, it's time to sign up!
