Are you enthusiastic about sports? Do you want to be the motivation that the HEC teams need? HEC Powmpowm is the cheerleader society at HEC Paris. Created in 2014, it is one of the newer societies on campus but participates in many big sporting events, supporting the HEC sports teams.

The Mission:

The Powmpowm society’s aim is to pull off a motivating and impressive performance to support the HEC sports teams.

The team trains together to prepare for big events such as the cheerleader competition at the opening ceremony of the JO (Jeux Omnisports).

HEC Powmpowm hopes to see the cheerleading team grow in numbers and diversity, and especially encourage male students to sign up.

The Grande École Coupe de France

Soon, the society hopes to be able to take part in inter-school cheerleading competitions across France.

Training sessions once a week.

HEC Pompom is looking for sporty students who are eager to work as a team to create a supportive and dynamic atmosphere for the HEC sports teams.

Joining HEC Pompom gives you the opportunity to represent the school in the big sports events with other business schools.

Make friends quickly with other students on campus, both French and international.

Being a part of HEC Powmpowm is a great way to build upon a variety of skills such as teamwork and organisation, outside of lectures.

Members:

The society usually has around 10 members, but hopes to expand the group and encourage male and international students to sign up.

Members are from a mix of different HEC programs and nationalities, giving you the chance to get to know international students from outside your course.

The Society’s History:

HEC Powmpowm began in 2014 and has since been performing at more and more events each year.
