The HEC Paris Executive Certificate in Aerospace & Aviation celebrates its 10th anniversary today and will be hosting a special closing ceremony at the Hôtel Meurice in Paris in the evening.
Launched in 2008, the program has been designed to sharpen the analytical and decision-making skills of participants and raise their awareness of the complex challenges and strategic opportunities in the highly regulated and dynamic sectors of aerospace and aviation industries. It is aimed at executives and senior managers with a significant business experience within these sectors, with an international mindset. Participants of the HEC Paris Executive MBA have the opportunity to take it as part of their curriculum.
« This Executive Certificate is truly a specialization in the aerospace and aviation sectors. It acts as an accelerator of experiences through a combination of experts’ testimonials, company visits and up-to-date research” says Nathalie Lugagne, Affiliate Professor and Associate Dean for Executive Education, HEC Paris.
On the occasion of the program’s 10th anniversary, HEC Paris will be welcoming Professor Johann-Dietrich Wörner, General Director of the European Space Agency, as a guest speaker during the ceremony.
He adds: “ESA and HEC Paris share a common interest in pursuing the highest quality standard in education in subjects related to the peaceful exploration and use of outer space. ESA and HEC Paris have recently decided to mutualize ESA’s expertise in Space and HEC’s students, researchers and professors through the establishment of a business innovation platform, the ESA_Lab@HEC. The Certificate in Aerospace and Aviation addressed to experienced executives, fully contributes to the definition of new technical and business orientations for Space 4.0 and is fully integrated in the ESA_Lab@HEC platform”.
The HEC Paris Executive Certificate in Aerospace & Aviation currently counts over 150 alumni. The closing ceremony will gather alumni from all the intakes of the program, key decision-makers of the industry as well as representatives and alumni of the HEC Aerospace Defense and Security Association.
