After almost ten years at the head of Vienna University of Economics and Business’s (WU) Executive Academy, Barbara Stöttinger has been appointed as HEC Paris’ new Dean of Executive Education. She brings with her over 25 years of experience in executive education, which she will put to good use in the school's ExEd programs and initiatives. She takes over from Anne-Valérie Corboz, who will continue to teach leadership at HEC Paris.

The third edition of the ranking reveals a more balanced and competitive global venture capital landscape, with international firms challenging the dominance of U.S. companies.

The Institute for Deep Tech Innovation (DEEP) at ESMT Berlin and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute (IEI) at HEC Paris are partnering to advance Europe’s technological sovereignty. Supported by the Dieter Schwarz Stiftung, in collaboration with TUM Campus Heilbronn and Campus Founders, they are launching a cutting-edge program focusing on next generation computing within Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), a nonprofit organization that delivers an objectives-based program for massively scalable, seed-stage, science- and technology-based companies. 

For the first time, a dozen members of the HEC Paris faculty took part in a “back-to-school” seminar in Chamonix to brainstorm about how management schools and their teaching culture should set about tackling climate issues. The specific focus of this task force, which is designed to be renewed with new members every year, is to foster rigorous knowledge and know-how about the various facets of climate change.

Starting January 2025, HEC Paris Business School will offer a new format of its MBA program enabling participants to enroll in an MBA program for 12 months instead of the usual 16 months. It is aimed at professionals who want to return to work sooner.

Judged on its excellence regarding teaching, research, innovation and technological transfer, as well as on the variety of its training, the consortium led by HEC Paris and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (École polytechnique, ENSTA, ENSAE, Telecom Paris, Telecom SudParis) and bringing together Inria, the CNRS, the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and the Université de Technologie de Troyes, wins the Project Call Cluster AI. Supported by the Interdisciplinary Center for Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis Hi! PARIS, the project receives financing of 70 million euros to establish one of the very first global research, training and innovation hubs in Artificial Intelligence to the benefit of French society.
