First Legal Hackathon of the Brussels Bar Association
Participate
Join the legal hackathon co-organised in partnership with the European Incubator of the Brussels Bar Association on Friday, 9 November and Saturday, 10 November 2018.
The event will unite attorneys, in-house counsel, data scientists, computer enthusiasts, coders and students in multiple disciplines to test and develop new technologies and applications for legal professionals in the area of debt recovery. The hackathon is organised with the support of the research projects SMART Law, conducted jointly with the Laboratory of Informatics of Ecole polytechnique, and ACT, conducted in partnership with the University of Montreal.
All HEC students interested in participating in the event are welcome to register through the Eventbrite website. There are five travel grants available to HEC Paris’ students. If you wish to apply to a grant, please send your CV and a motivation letter to Mrs. Mzita (mzita@hec.fr) before Wednesday, 3 October. Please note that the application for a grant is a separate procedure to the registration for the event. To participate in the hackathon you do not require prior knowledge in the field of debt recovery or any other area of law. The competition welcomes both French and English speakers.
If you have any additional questions regarding the event, please contact Professor David Restrepo Amariles (restrepo-amariles@hec.fr).
