HEC Paris is proud to be the academic partner of the 7th edition of ChangeNOW 2024, the annual summit focusing on environmental and social innovation, which will be held from 25 to 27 March at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris. On the agenda: 1,000 solutions for the planet, 450 speakers, 1,200 investors and 35,000 participants from all over the world. This year, 5 startups from the HEC Paris Incubator will get the chance to pitch at this outstanding event!
Accelerating the transition to a sustainable world
Three days to lead and amplify concrete actions that inspire, and change norms, companies and individuals is what awaits participants at the upcoming ChangeNOW summit! In symbiosis with HEC Paris’ DNA, ChangeNOW aims to build bridges between entrepreneurs, change leaders, policy-makers and citizens to tackle our planet’s biggest challenges.
Throughout the event, dozens of workshops, conferences and concrete sustainable actions will take place, supporting three main objectives:
- International governance: Facilitating collaboration among institutional entities, innovators, and change-makers to drive systemic change.
- Business change: Empowering companies and encouraging top executives to take concrete actions and drive positive change.
- Art & Culture: Harnessing the creativity of artists, designers, and art & culture professionals to inspire individuals.
Among the 450 speakers, world-class change leaders and experts will be there, such as Daniela Fernandez, Founder & CEO at Sustainable Ocean Alliance and Vandana Shiva, Founder of Research Foundation for Science.
And as a partner of the event, HEC Paris has developed a specially curated program, which will take place on Wednesday, March 27th in the afternoon.

As an Academic Partner of the event, HEC Paris has put together an exciting program, including a conference on “Adaptation as a Solution”, as well as a pitch session with startups currently participating in the HEC Paris Incubateur program, and a cocktail reception.
Here is the detailed HEC Paris program on Wednesday March 27th:
- 1:30pm - 2pm: 'HEC Paris Startups as changemakers' Pitch session (on the Garden Stage)
- 2pm - 2:45pm: Keynote on ‘Three misconceptions about climate change, and how they can misguide our collective action’ by François Gemmene, Researcher, HEC Paris Professor and Academic Director of the Master in Sustainability and Social Innovation (SASI) (on the Eiffel Stage)
- 2:45pm - 3:30pm: Panel session ‘The Alliance for the Decarbonization of Road Transport. A novel initiative to tackle the elephant in the room’ (on the Eiffel Stage) with Stéphanie Clément-Grandcourt, Director General, Fondation pour la nature et l’homme, Martin Powell, Group Sustainability Director, AXA, Susanna Zammataro, Director General, International Road Federation, and moderated by François Gemmene.
