EuroTeQathon 2024 rewards two HEC Paris teams
For the first time ever since joining the EuroTeQ Engineering University in November 2023, HEC Paris took part in the 4th edition of the EuroTeQathon. This pitching contest was organized this year by and at École Polytechnique from June 8 to 10. 130 people, among which students, teachers, experts and staff, gathered for this joyful event. HEC Paris was proudly represented by two teams, Revolty and Greyn, that both came back with a prize.
During this European 3-day event that took place on École Polytechnique campus, 7 engineering schools and HEC Paris sent an impressive total of 21 teams to compete on the theme “Enhance Connections for Sustainable Futures” in 3 categories: Nature, People and Technology. We warmly congratulate all of the participants from our EuroTeQ partner schools for their highly creative ideas and projects!
A series of insightful activities and workshop were offered to prepare for the final pitching event. The “Technology leaving no one behind” workshop especially left a deep impression on all students. Each team then had 3 minutes to pitch its project and convince an international jury of challenge-based learning, technologies and entrepreneurship experts.
Two teams composed of talented students finishing the MSc X-HEC Entrepreneurs represented HEC Paris, and both brought a prize home:
- Revolty - Mathilde Janicot, Valentin Heuzé - got the first prize in the “Technology”category and received a 1 500€ reward. They create an affordable and sustainable solar storage solution by giving a second life to electric vehicle batteries. To learn more about Revolty, follow this link.
- Greyn - Jeanne Tricot, Damien Beaudou, Amine Shiri –, in the “Nature” category, offers a solution designed to monitor and manage the concrete delivery cycle using AI and data analysis, from its production in the concrete plant to the construction site where it is poured. They won their tickets to attend the Bootcamp organized by IESE in July 2024.
As HEC Paris is increasingly taking part in EuroTeQ activities, more opportunities for the entire HEC community are to come!
