HEC Earth Week 2023
Participate
This year, the 4th edition of the HEC Earth Week will take place from 23 to 28 April on the HEC campus in Jouy-en-Josas. Organized by the Esp'R student association supported by the Sustainability Fund, this week dedicated to raising awareness and boosting student engagement with sustainability aims to help the HEC community understand environmental issues and identify solutions to achieve a sober, sustainable, and resilient future.

The program includes conferences and thematic round tables on subjects as diverse as the vulnerability of our modern societies to systemic risks, the links between extreme poverty and ecology, and the power of art to change our collective imaginary and our relationship to the world. In addition, there will be awareness-raising workshops (Atelier 2 Tonnes, vegetarian cooking), walks to discover biodiversity and festive events.
Thus, the objective of the HEC Earth Week is to raise awareness on the major challenges we face: environmental but also social challenges. However, we don't want Earth Week to just give factual information on environmental issues, we also want it to give some keys to take up the challenges and initiate changes. To do this, we will be addressing several topics: energy, biodiversity, politics, art, climate, agriculture... Everyone will find something they enjoy.
We are happy to invite all interested students, staff and professors to the events, whether on campus or online (live broadcast on the Esp'R HEC Youtube channel)!
