About the Specialization:

What is considered “good” board governance is highly context-dependent. Hence, rather than providing ready-to-use answers, this specialization helps participants to ask the right questions and provide them with key insights into board tasks that are often extremely complex and multifaceted. Participants also have plenty of opportunities to develop their board skills through case discussions, role-plays, and other hands-on exercises as well as through simulations.
As the topic of board governance, this specialization is inherently multidisciplinary and integrative, building upon concepts and tools from various disciplines (i.e., accounting and auditing, finance, leadership, and strategy) to provide participants with a holistic understanding and the skill set of how boards can create sustainable value for customers, employees, owners, and society at large.
