I returned to everyday life with a different awareness of my potential.

I am a young professional, working in project planning in a multinational company. For me, it is important to find a way to combine my passions with work. I was looking for a summer program which could fit with my working commitments, but at the same time represented an intensive course to deeply touch the luxury world, which has always fascinated me. Last year, thanks to the Inside LVMH Certificate I started discovering challenges and mechanisms that govern this sector and I really wanted to take a step forward. When I found out about the HEC Paris Summer School, I pre-registered in order to keep updated and sent my application as soon as applications opened.

My exchanges with the Recruitment Manager were really enriching and she helped me make the right choice. Thanks to my Inside LVMH certificate, as well as my fascination for craftsmanship, this specialized program was a perfect fit.

In only two weeks I had the opportunity to enter exclusive places, visit the major boutiques in the heart of Paris and, most importantly, to meet gifted, wonderful professionals from a range of fields.  Beyond the huge professionalism, knowledge and expertise of the professors and guest speakers, what stuck with me the most was their humility in passing on their experience. Their teachings have allowed me to grow personally and professionally: grit, passion, determination and a great desire to learn and get involved are the keys to open any door in front of us.

Thanks to them and my fellow students, who came from all over the world and had incredible stories to share, I returned to everyday life with a different awareness of my potential. I truly believe it was also because of my new approach in dealing with challenges that I just got a promotion to the role of Project Manager I had been aspiring to for months.

To conclude, if you are a student or a young professional, you are crazy to learn and you want to put yourself on the line, this is a great opportunity to have an immersive experience in the area that interests you the most.
