Celebrate the generosity on 29 November 2022
For the fifth consecutive year, the HEC Foundation participates to the global day of solidarity and generosity, "Giving Tuesday". You too join this movement to celebrate donation in all its forms.
Giving Tuesday was created when two organizations, the 92nd Street Y and the United Nations Foundation came together in 2012, about a month before that year's Thanksgiving. Their intention was to set aside a day that was all about celebrating the generosity of giving, a great American tradition.
GivingTuesday was created as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
This movement has quickly grown into a worldwide celebration of generosity and our shared capacity to give.
In France, the #GivingTuesday was launched for the first time in 2018 by a collective of organisations bringing together associations, foundations, companies, institutions and individuals.
Whether you are an individual, a non-profit organization, a school, an institution or a company join the movement! And in these difficult times, we encourage you more than ever to show solidarity and generosity and to support the causes that are dear to your heart, whether in the form of time, money, gifts of things, food, blood, sharing skills or simply speaking out to make the world a better place! The list really is endless.
