Celebrating Diversity, Excellence and Generosity
In September, the Foundation invites scholarship students to participate in an award ceremony. It is a moment of pride for them, but also a moment of sharing and inspiration alongside donors who bear witness to the importance of giving back to the School.
September is always a great time to meet the students who benefit from our various scholarship programs.
Whether they are recipients of scholarships based on excellence or social criteria, from preparatory classes or from the 4 corners of the world, they enable us to measure the richness and great diversity of our students' profiles!
When the new academic year begins, the Foundation organizes 3 Award ceremonies to welcome and congratulate new Phd, MBA and Masters scholarship students. These ceremonies are always moments of emotion, inspiration and transmission. This year, Masters' students had the opportunity to meet Sophie Wigniolle (H.85), Partner of Eric Salmon & Partners & Olivier Wigniolle (H.85), Executive Chairman of AEGIDE-DOMITYS, both of whom have been very committed to HEC for many years. Erwann Le Lannou, from XTX Markets was also present at the ceremony to hand out the 17 scholarships funded by the company for Master Data Science for Business students.
These moments of exchange and sharing are also an opportunity to explain to the recipients where their scholarships come from, and the importance of philanthropy for an institution like HEC. We're counting on them to perpetuate the tradition of "giving back" to their school, and to develop this intergenerational solidarity by giving talented young people the opportunity to study at HEC Paris.
Thank you to our donors and corporate partners for supporting talented people who make up the strength and excellence of our campus. This year, 11 PhD, 99 MBA and 217 Masters' students have benefited from the support of the HEC Foundation! Congratulations to them all!
We also thank you all the teams at the school (Masters, MBA and Phd) for their invaluable help and time both before and during these scholarship award ceremonies.
