Collective donation by the H.67 "Pâquerette" Class
For the third year in a row, the "Pâquerette" class (H.67) has taken action in favor of equal opportunities. Thanks to the "1st Jouy generation", 55 donors from the Class of 67 have contributed a grand total of €110,800.
Fifty years of the H.67 / June 2018
In June 2018, on their 50th anniversary, the alumni of H.67 decided to take up the great challenge of helping students on need-based scholarships to finance their studies at HEC, through a collective fundraising campaign by the H.67 class for the Foundation.
In 2019, Michel de Fabiani, Christian Filiol and Roland Tchénio, all members of the Class of ‘67, made a promise to raise €100,000 from their classmates to fund needs-based scholarships. After 3 years of campaigning, 55 donors from the Class of 67 have contributed a grand total of €110,800. Congratulations and thank you to all for their devotion and support.
Christian Filiol and Michel de Fabiani recall the birth of this intergenerational solidarity project:
Fifty-seven years ago, we were given two great opportunities: to join HEC and to move to the brand new Jouy campus. After the celebration of our fiftieth anniversary which brought many of us back together, we decided we wanted to offer this amazing chance to young people who could not enter HEC without the help of a scholarship, despite their potential. By encouraging donations of any amount from our many classmates, we wanted to stand as an example of solidarity and togetherness - one of our school’s greatest strengths - and create an intergenerational link with the deserving students who will carry on the legacy of the first ever Jouy class.
