A successful event to welcome new master's students
On Thursday, September 19, 2024, 188 students from HEC's pre-experience programs took part in a ceremony to officially receive their Excellence Scholarships in the presence of Flore (H.04) and Louis-Benoit Des Robert (H.03), both Major Donors to the Foundation.
To celebrate their arrival on campus, the prizewinners were able to meet Flore and Louis-Benoit Des Robert, both Major Donors to the HEC Foundation, at a scholarship award ceremony in the Bellon amphitheater. After a presentation of the Foundation's actions by Delphine Colson (H.94), Executive Director, the two alumni shared their experience as former graduates, but also their joy at returning to campus and meeting these new students supported by the Foundation.
We are delighted to welcome you to our HEC family, where your exceptional talent, combined with the brilliant minds of our French students, will create something truly extraordinary. You will bring the perfect touch! Without HEC, I would never have had the chance to meet the incredible people and friends who have supported me throughout my career and life, and I wouldn't have got where I am today. It is also thanks to HEC that I have the opportunity today to give back to the community I love, and to support great students like you here at this event.
Their personal and heartfelt speeches touched all the students present that evening. They were followed by a lengthy Q&A session, during which the future HEC graduates were able to address the donors directly and ask for advice or recommendations.
A big thank you to Flore and Louis Benoit for their time and exemplary commitment to the school.
Thank you also to all the corporate sponsors who support students every year. During the ceremony, which brought together a wide range of students from over 4️5 different countries, we were also honored to welcome Valérie Pivert Diallo and Jana Kinastowski from the Volkswagen Group, a corporate patron supporting four outstanding students this year. We also thank XTX Markets for funding 18 scholarships for this cohort.
