The wide range of courses also provided me with the freedom to focus on different angles from which sustainability can be tackled in the business

After graduating from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile law’s program, I worked for 3 and a half years as a corporate lawyer at EY Chile before returning to study in order to shift my career towards my passion for sustainability.

I joined the HEC Paris SASI master looking for a program with a practical approach in facing environmental and social challenges. Indeed, one of the key aspects of the program is that even though it challenges the traditional conception of what the business of business is, it remains pragmatic, with professors who challenge us to be innovative in our projects and presentations, while building a strong business case.

Its wide range of courses also provided me with the freedom to focus on different angles from which sustainability can be tackled in the business world, from finance to supply chain to providing us with an ample understanding of the sustainability and social challenges that businesses face in their pursue of value creation.

Finding richness in diversity

One of the most fascinating parts of this year has been sharing my experience with classmates from different cultures and diverse backgrounds. I have felt constantly inspired and challenged by our exchanges both within the classroom and outside of it, especially regarding the collective pursuit for professional and personal coherence.

Wide Range of Opportunities

In addition to the prestige associated with HEC Paris and the possibility to focus the program on my main areas of interest, one of the aspects that attracted me to SASI was the opportunity to pursue a double degree with one of HEC Paris partner institutions. Next semester I will begin a Masters in Energy, Natural Resources, and the Environment at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), where I look to further enrich my knowledge of business and sustainability.
