Brad Harris, Ph.D., has been appointed to lead the HEC Paris MBA Programs as Associate Dean. He is succeeding Kristine de Valck, Professor of Marketing and Dean of Degree Programs at HEC Paris, who served as Interim Dean of the school’s MBA programs for the past year.
He joined HEC Paris more than a year ago as a Professor of Management and Human Resources. He taught and will continue to teach as a professor in the school’s MBA, Executive MBA, Ph.D., and Executive Education programs. “Brad is an imaginative leader with business and academic experience. He has the vision for our MBA Programs, and I am confident he will inspire impact among students, faculty, and the greater HEC Paris community,” said Kristine de Valck. “Brad’s previous experience combined with his academic expertise, will help us develop our leadership offering, a foundational piece to our MBA Programs, and focus on offering courses that are both timely and timeless, and address the world’s biggest issues.”
"It is an honor to be appointed as the Associate Dean for the MBA Programs at HEC Paris,” said Harris. "I am proud to lead these world-class programs and work with the renowned professors who make them such a life-changing experience. Likewise, I am thrilled to work with such a talented and global student body. We already have a strong foundation, and my first priority is protecting our reputation and the great aspects of the program that have been built over the years. Our purpose is to build leaders with the character, competence and courage to change the world. If we are able to look back on the classes we graduate in the coming years and feel like they’re prepared to make a difference, I believe we’ll be proud of our work."
