PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Collaborative workshops, ideation competitions, innovation labs, intrapreneurship programs, incubators, crowd-sourcing and crowd-funding, partnerships between large corporations and start-ups... Collaborative innovation (also known as open or participative innovation) is all the rage.
Collaborative innovation stems from the pressing need for organizations to reinvent themselves or improve certain aspects of their activities, against a backdrop of digital revolution and rapid economic and societal transformation.
Collaborative innovation schemes encourage cross-functionality and mobilize a multiplicity of players both within the company and externally (stakeholders), making it possible to cross-fertilize perspectives and generate fresh ideas on complex issues.
