Program overview

This course considers Leadership as the art of management, taking into account its overall complexity and inner contradictions.

The objective is to propose a transformative and developmental journey for the participants, exploring an ambidextrous leadership, between “Dynamic” Leadership (based on frame and performance) and “Gentleness” Leadership (based on purpose and enablement).

As reflective practitioners, participants will work on their real issues and stakes individually and with their peers.

Objectives

 

Develop the ability to use a diversity of leadership styles depending on the situation, people and team in question


Apply these approaches to the real business context and leadership challenges of the participants


Deepen self-awareness and develop insightful options to improve one's own leadership in action


Use influencing skills to align and engage different stakeholders around a shared vision and a sense of purpose

  • Introduction to Leadership approaches and self-awareness
  • Situational leadership.
  • Fresh learning on situational leadership, perception bias, allow to practice the reflexive practitioner posture and anchor individual learning.
  • Purposeful and Responsible Leadership.
  • Introduction to the concept and to the link with Corporate Social Responsibility self-reflection on your own challenging situations.
  • How to create meaning, engagement and sustainable change with purpose.
  • Paradoxical and adaptive Leadership and Developing adaptive Leadership.
  • Explore opposite yet complementary dimensions of Leadership to find new innovative solutions.
  • Assess how to face dilemmas and tensions which have no simple solution, such as arbitrating between the needs of today and the demands of the future, local and global needs, financial pressures and social and environmental responsibility…
  • Effective leaders they will need the agility to grasp both
  • Leading change.
  • Leaders are responsible for implementing a multitude of changes, from small-scale changes to global transformation programs.
  • This session focuses on learning and implementing a change process, which synthesizes a wealth of academic research on good change practice.
