PILOTER LA PERFORMANCE EXTRA-FINANCIÈRE ET L’IMPACT ESG PILOTER LA PERFORMANCE EXTRA-FINANCIÈRE ET L’IMPACT ESG
Program overview
Beyond financial performance, more and more companies are embracing their extra-financial performance and sustainability. Pressures from stakeholders, customer and employee expectations, regulations... lead them to consider their environmental and social impacts on a much broader scale. In this module, participants learn to integrate these new challenges, measure carbon to manage CO2 emissions trajectory, evaluate CSR performance across the value chain, conduct a convincing double materiality CSR issue analysis, and identify ESG risks and opportunities. At the end of the module, they will have a comprehensive understanding of what is needed to prepare a sustainability report according to the new European regulations (CSRD, taxonomy...). With this broad view of performance, they can position themselves as co-pilots of the transition.

Pedagogy and Evaluations
Pédagogy :
The pedagogical method relies on HEC's academic content, observation of best practices of international companies, direct testimonies of participants, and their own professional experiences. Confronting these different perspectives allows for reflection, broadening horizons, and mutual enrichment. The instructors will use real company cases to illustrate various themes and encourage participants to envision themselves in diverse and more or less complex situations. These cases will be supplemented with practical exercises for participants to practice handling the presented concepts and tools. Throughout the program, participants are encouraged to work in teams, debate among themselves as in a company's management committee, and network to build a peer network for their entire professional life, while enjoying the HEC campus.
Evaluations
The assessment is based on individual participation, group work, as well as a knowledge test.
