L'économie du Football L'économie du Football

As part of its Youth offering, HEC Paris is organizing a short in-person program on the Economics of Football held during the school vacation. The program will be taught in French. Don't miss this unique opportunity to learn from inspiring professors and guest speakers in the field to score a personal goal!

What is the 'économie du Football' program?

Are you passionate about football? Are you curious about the economic logic and financial aspects of the world's most popular sport? This fascinating new program will help you unravel the mysteries behind football money.

Have you ever wondered why football players are paid so much? What does the football industry do with all its revenues? By the end of this program, you'll have a better understanding of the complexities of this industry and the role of the different stakeholders. You'll engage with other students, sharing your views and perspectives on football.

Motivated students aged 15-18 are welcome to apply. The program will be taught in French. Please note that this is a non-residential program and participants are responsible for organizing their own transport and accommodation.

When & Where

The next edition of this program will be held on the HEC Paris campus  from 15 - 17 July 2025

Classes will start at 10am and finish around 5pm each day. Students who participate fully in this 3-day program will earn an HEC Paris Certificate.

 

How to apply

Applications for this inspiring program will open in early 2025. We invite you to pre-register your interest to be informed when the application portal opens. Applying early is highly recommended as spaces are limited and will be filled on a rolling basis according to motivation.  

All student applications require parent/ legal guardian consent.

Upon admission, a series of documents will be required before program commencement. These include, but are not limited to, the following: parental authorization, medical form, proof of necessary insurance.
