Program overview
This module allows you to build a toolbox for management control. From cost analysis (variable/fixed, direct/indirect) to budgetary control, including dashboards, variance analysis, and break-even analysis. Participants learn how to measure performance, combine multiple methods and indicators to better understand it, and adjust their approach based on the context and strategy of their organization.

The program is aimed at:
Finance Directors; Controllers; Management Accountants; Legal professionals; Project Managers; Bankers;Consultants; Finance professionals with at least 5 to 10 years of experience.
Prerequisites:
Master's degree level 1 or level 2; Good knowledge of the business world (start-ups, SMEs, ETIs, or large companies); First experience in team management; Proficiency in Excel (intermediate level, calculations, formulas, and functions).

- Best cost drivers for indirect allocation

- Principles of delegation and controllability
- Alignment of goals
- Implementation of budgetary control.
- Variance analysis (volume, mix, efficiency, price) with the VMRP method
- Dashboard
- Selection of relevant performance indicators (KPIs)
Pédagogy and evaluations
Pedagogy:
The pedagogical method is based on academic content taught at HEC, observation of the best practices of international companies, as well as direct testimonials from participants and their own professional experiences.
The confrontation of these different perspectives allows for reflection, broadening one's horizons, and mutual enrichment.
Evaluation:
The evaluation is based on individual participation, group work, as well as a knowledge test.
